HUMAN CLONING

I'm afraid that human cloning is alive in today's society.

Look around; look at people. Most have the same haircuts, the same hair colors, the same style clothes. We have groups like the punk crowd, the college people, that so-called alternative group. We have your yuppie SUV business people that go to the happening places, have I missed anyone? My goal isn't to offend anyone, but simply bring attention. If you really look, not many have one. They look at media (tv, print) they walk down the street and more or less their life is bought off the rack.

The reason I write this. As an artist, it's frustrating to see the same thing over and over and then be told by these people that "I'm an original person"... please! I'm afraid most aren't. To be original in the dictionary means "never having been done before; new; novel; inventive". I see very few people in this category. Why is this important?

God made us each unique in our own special way. It would be a great shame to be the same, don't you think?

As Doug Floyd said, "You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note."

John Cale, co-founder of the Velvet Underground, and one of our great thinker's said, "The only reason we wore sunglasses onstage was because we couldn't stand the sight of the audience."

The greatest pride lies in giving it all we have each day. All around us is inspiration and endless supply of material and resources. We need to live our lives intoxicating the landscape, not living with borders.
